"Blame Soros: GOP’s Only Economic Strategy"
Yesterday's "HANDS OFF" was a clear indication that Americans are hurting from Trump's misguided tariffs and DOGE policies. How can the GOP not hear the screams?
Let’s not beat around the bush. The GOP isn’t just disconnected from reality; they’ve moved out, left no forwarding address, and are now living in a delusional MAGA-themed escape room where logic is optional and truth is covered with a red hat. At the center of this economic carnival ride from hell? Trump’s beloved tariffs. You know, the ones he swore would make America rich again; just before they made everyone else rich and America’s farmers cry into their soybeans.
This week, in a clear sign that people have had enough of Trump’s economic self-immolation, over 1,200 protests erupted nationwide, with international solidarity rallies popping up in places that used to call us allies; before they started sourcing their wheat, steel, and soy from literally anywhere but us. The protests were organized under the banner “Hands Off”, and while that message was directed at Trump’s grubby, gold-plated economic policies, it might as well have been a cry for help to protect what's left of our common sense.
But if you turned on Fox News or any of the MAGA propaganda outlets, you’d think these protests were less about economic devastation and more about George Soros hosting a global leftist rave with ANTIFA DJs and tofu burgers for all. According to the echo chamber, this grassroots movement is yet another “left-wing hoax” meant to smear the good name of America’s favorite felonious former president. The talking heads practically tripped over themselves to parrot the same tired line: “It’s Soros-funded. It’s fake. Real Americans support Trump’s tariffs.”
Let me tell you something from personal experience; when you start blaming Soros for everything, it’s because you’ve run out of actual arguments. But hey, facts never stopped the GOP from chugging Trump’s Kool-Aid like it’s the last cocktail on the Titanic.
Now, let’s talk about the Secretary of Agriculture; because apparently, we’re just handing out government posts like Trump handed out NDAs. On Jake Tapper’s show this morning, Brooke Rollins had the audacity; no, the gall, to sit there, look into the camera, and say with a straight face that “American farmers are about to see massive benefits from these tariffs” and that “every country is calling, begging us to remove them from the tariff list.” I damn near choked on my blueberries.
Brooke, what fantasyland are you living in? These countries aren’t calling Trump to negotiate; they’re calling new suppliers. Brazil, Argentina, Australia; they’re cashing in on the market vacuum Trump created like sharks on a blood trail. Our farmers aren’t winning; they’re being gutted. The only calls they’re getting are from banks asking when they plan on paying back the loans they took out to cover last season’s losses.
And let’s be crystal clear: Tariffs are taxes, plain and simple. They’re taxes you, me, and every single American consumer pays at the register. Trump's economic plan is the equivalent of setting your house on fire to stay warm and then blaming the neighbors when the fire department doesn’t show up.
But what’s worse than the policy itself is the cowardly complicity from the Republican Party. These are the same clowns who used to pretend they cared about free markets, farmers, and the working class. Now they bend the knee faster than you can say “Mar-a-Lago.” So few of them have the backbone to say publicly what they are all whispering behind closed doors: “This is economic suicide.” Instead, they keep propping up the lie because it’s easier than telling the truth. Because telling the truth means admitting they sold out the American people for an autocratic wannabe with a persecution complex.
So here’s the reality: the GOP is not the party of Lincoln, Reagan, or even Bush anymore. It's the party of economic gaslighting, anti-truth fanaticism, and blind loyalty to a man who couldn’t negotiate his way out of a wet paper trade deal. The tariffs are hurting Americans. The protests are real. The farmers are bleeding. And the rest of the world is moving on without us while the GOP plays make-believe on national television.
So, to every Trump enabler in Congress, to every pundit still clinging to the fairy tale, and to every cabinet member parroting lies for a paycheck: wake the fuck up. The rest of us already have.
Now go ahead, Hannity, and tell me Soros paid me to write this.

As a concerned 🇨🇦 I am proud of my 🇺🇸 neighbours waking up and protesting before that’s illegal too 👏🥳😇😎
Ok. Let’s just say that George Soros did pay every protester since Trump took office, as they claim. Show me the paystubs. Let’s assume 5 million people have protested in various protests since Jan 20., Times what do they say “we” are getting paid for these “fake” protests. I’m going to be conservative and say we would charge $20. So that’s $100,000,000 out of his pocket. Not likely. Does he get to deduct that on his taxes? What are the real people that are ripping money out of our pockets getting paid? What do they get paid to lie, cheat, steal, and wreck our economy? Make decisions we don’t ask for. Are they short selling stocks knowing ahead they are going to tank? How many bribes are they taking for favorable treatment from people and other countries?
Where’s the line in the budget for prisons in El Salvador? I mean this is just silliness. Why is relying on your government for services a bad thing? No matter income level, all people benefit from a structured and engaged government. All we have are people in charge that would rather take your hard earned money and wipe their asses with it than let you have any, because they can. We need some smart people to figure out how we say, “no more you can’t” and enforce it. We have a few voters in Wisconsin to thank for doing their democratic duty and voting in a judge that at least gives hope to the idea that some people are still just and decent people that accept the framework our forefathers built and believe in democracy. Not these lunatics wanting to pay people to be on their side long enough to get their vote. Only to fuck their ass right after. Wake up! I’m trying as well. 🙏🏼
