Great reading once again! I am relatively new to politics but I just finished listening to the Disloyal and Revenge audiobooks. In Revenge you said something that sent a chill down my spine when taken in today’s context. It was something to the effect that Trump would start a war to avoid losing his position of power. I tried re-listening to a couple chapters to get your exact wording with no luck. But the chills persisted because it is actually happening!!

The question isn't whether Noem can get away with this. The question is: what country do we become when this is how power operates, and nobody can stop it?
I also liked how he tried to draw a comparison to what happened on J6, and she couldn't handle that either. And when pressed, we're all supposed to be grateful because Dear Leader is just trying to make us all safe? Sorry lady, but seeing that video makes me feel anything but safe to be on the streets of America. I have to say, after the execution that happened in Minneapolis, I have never been so fearful for my country and, on a personal level, for my family. I am terrified. I don’t think all of this hit me until Minneapolis.

If democracy is truly going to survive in this country, something has to be done NOW! It’ll be too late by the time the midterms come around. What is so gut-wrenchingly horrible is that I don’t see a way out that won’t be devastating, where lives won’t be lost.

Then make sure you don't investigate video clips of the door to door ICE thugs in St Paul. Gangs of them with guns drawn approaching private homes, banging on doors, and threatening residents by their presence. I wish that some MAGA neighborhoods would be so challenged.
I totally agree with you. I'm 77 and was in the Navy during The Vietnam War... stationed stateside ... so I got to see The war protests first hand. But What ICE is doing here, now is so much more frightening. It really scares me so much.
Somewhere along the line I heard that the amount of training they get to become an ice agent is 47 days because Trump wanted 47 days to highlight the fact that he is the 47th president! ICE needs to be dismantled and reassessed and they need to get rid of the bad apples that didn't pass half the stuff they should have whether it was the physical part of it or the written part and NO masks should be allowed!
The ICE agent that shot and killed Good was pissed that she didn't get out of the car and with a smile on her face saying something to the effect I'm not mad at you turned her tires to get away and he shot her because he wasn't having it and then we heard the words...you bitch... that is the gist of what I heard and what they've reported in regards to what he actually said. And for the president to say that he was run over when it was pretty apparent that he was right at the side of the car and was standing and not harmed at all... was typical of trump trying to feed us some stupid horror story when none of it was true. He is a horror story, Kristi is a horror story. We need to end this year long nightmare and make sure we have elections so that we can get rid of this regime! Vote Blue💙💙💙

In the meantime a 6 year old lost his mother to a murderer. We have to keep showing up and risking our lives in order to save this country.

It is disturbing for sure. I toss and turn many nights with a lot of interruptions during my sleep cycle. It is hard to stay focused during the day as well. I fear in 3 years our democracy will no longer exist. This regime is disastrous to us and the world. I didn't realize so many Americans hated our country so much they would vote him back in. I mean, WTF?! I strongly believe Trump is seeking retribution on all Americans for the 2020 election loss. Clearly it still bothers him as he won't stop talking about it, saying it was stolen from him. He can't handle a loss and it's killing him. We're being punished.
