"Promises Made, Chaos Delivered"
Only together can we can defeat this madness and restore America. Be a part of the conversation and community!
So here we are. Not even 100 days into the second coming of Donald J. Trump; and what a historic dumpster fire it’s already turning out to be. Remember the circus barker on the campaign trail? The guy who stood before cheering crowds, puffing out his chest like a rooster on meth, declaring he alone could fix it all? Wars would vanish. Hostages would sprint back home. The economy would soar. Immigrants would be rounded up by the millions. And America? America would be rich again, feared again, “respected” again. That he, and he alone, would Make America Great Again!
Promises made, promises broken. All of them.
Let’s start with the foreign policy charade. Trump told his cult; sorry, his MAGA base, that he’d end the Russia-Ukraine war in 24 hours. “I’ll fix it before I’m even sworn in,” he bragged, probably while sniffing sharpie ink off a fake map. Fast forward to today: Russia is not only still hammering Ukraine but just last night, they conducted an airstrike that left thirty innocent civilians dead. So much for peace through strength. All we got was tweets and Truth Posts through tantrums.
Then there’s the Israel-Hamas conflict. Remember when Trump bragged that the hostages would be released immediately once he took the oath? Well, some hostages have been released, and yes, credit where due. But nearly 100 people remain in captivity. This isn’t “Art of the Deal” diplomacy. This is hostage roulette while Donald plays golf at Mar-a-Lago and rails against windmills; literally.
Now let’s talk about the deportation delusion. Trump pledged to boot out 10 million undocumented immigrants, each of them; according to his vile, racist broad-brushing, rapists, murderers, or drug dealers. He made it sound like ICE was about to turn into the Terminator. But here’s the reality: Deportations haven’t skyrocketed. Courts are overwhelmed. His executive orders are tied up in litigation. And the optics? Ugly. Families being torn apart, people being detained without due process, all while the MAGA crowd cheers like it’s the Fourth of July. It’s cruelty disguised as policy.
And the economy? Holy shit! This is the same guy who claimed he’d be the best jobs president ever, that he’d bring back “wealth to all Americans.” But right now, about 60 percent of Americans say he’s screwing it up. Prices remain high; eggs still feel like a luxury item, gas prices are volatile, and the trade war he reignited is hitting your wallet whether you know it or not. Tariffs don’t mean China pays more. You pay more. At the grocery store. At the gas pump. Everywhere. But Trump, in all his delusion, calls it a “strategic negotiation.” Meanwhile, top-tier economists and investment houses are practically screaming that Trump is steering the economy straight into a recession. But hey, at least the stock market has a truth social account now, right?
This isn’t the second term of a savior. It’s the opening act of a tragedy. America is weaker, poorer, and more isolated. We’ve become the international punchline. NATO allies don’t trust us. Democracies are looking elsewhere for leadership. And on the other side of the world, Putin, Xi, and Kim Jong Un are watching us implode like it’s their favorite Netflix show; “America: The Fall of the Empire.”
And you want to talk about freedoms? Seriously? Try being a woman seeking reproductive care in a red state. Or a journalist asking uncomfortable questions at a Trump presser. Or a protester. Or a voter in a heavily gerrymandered district. Rights are shrinking faster than Trump’s inauguration crowd size.
The first 100 days of this administration aren’t just bad. They’re historically catastrophic. There’s no infrastructure week, no beautiful healthcare plan, no reset button. Just retribution, incompetence, and chaos; served daily with a side of delusion.
This isn’t strength. This isn’t leadership. This is what happens when a grifter cons the country twice.
So what has Trump accomplished? Nothing of substance. Nothing that’s made America better. Unless you’re a billionaire donor, a fossil fuel exec, the partner selling his NFT’s or meme coins, or a foreign adversary; you’re worse off today than you were three months ago. And that is a fuckin fact!
America deserved better. We still do.
But until we wake up from this cult-induced fever dream, we’ll keep spinning in this Trumpian merry-go-round of madness, promising ourselves that maybe next time he’ll mean what he says.
Spoiler Alert: he won’t.

The chaos is bad but what is even worse than the “chaos itself” is the path it is making for a fascist regime to take us over. Maine Governor Janet Mills was threatened personally regarding her career if she didn’t comply with the federal government regarding transgender in sports and she said that Maine would see him in court, he was furious with her remark and proceeded to tell her she would not be able to get a job in politics after this. She received letters from various Federal Depts. threatening to take funds away from unrelated issues as retribution. Even touching on children’s school lunches, etc. so, here is the scary part, there is a process that follows the rule of law that needs to be followed before any of those restrictions can happen and he thought he could just disregard those rule of law processes and make it happen with “his” decree. Another example of what a dictator looks like.
In the madman’s defense he did promise chaos & he has delivered. What’s shocking are the people who actually voted for chaos.
