"Revenge Politics: No Patience, Just Pain"
The new administration is moving at breakneck speed; slashing, gutting, and tearing apart the federal government like a Black Friday mob at a Walmart electronics aisle.
You know the old adage, “patience is a virtue”? Well, apparently no one in Donald Trump’s Washington ever got that memo. The new administration is moving at breakneck speed; slashing, gutting, and tearing apart the federal government like a Black Friday mob at a Walmart electronics aisle. The chaos is breathtaking. Job cuts are coming faster than you can say “pink slip.” Deportations have turned into a frenzied free-for-all, with ICE agents raiding schools, hospitals, and churches, yanking parents away from their children with all the delicacy of a wrecking ball. Departments are shuttering overnight, leaving the most vulnerable; the elderly, veterans, the disabled, scrambling for services that no longer exist.
And the real question; the one nobody in the GOP-controlled halls of power seems to be asking, is: why the rush?
This isn’t efficiency. This isn’t streamlining government. It’s a personal revenge vendetta tour, designed to punish, humiliate, and destroy anyone and anything even tangentially connected to policies Trump once sneered at. It’s not about making America great; it’s about settling scores.
Take the mass layoffs happening across federal agencies. More than 80,000 government employees were forced out in just the first 60 days of Trump’s new term. Departments like USAID, the Environmental Protection Agency, and even the Department of Veterans Affairs have seen their workforce gutted. Veterans; those same men and women who fought and bled for this country, are now left in the lurch, scrambling to access basic services because the VA can’t process claims fast enough. Why? Because Trump’s ideological henchmen decided that slashing “government bloat” plays well in MAGA-land; even if it means screwing over the very people he once vowed to protect.
And let’s not forget the deportations. Immigration raids have gone from targeted enforcement to full-blown hunting expeditions. Schools, nursing homes, and even churches have become fair game. The administration’s logic? If you’re here illegally; even if you’ve lived in the U.S. for 25 years, have no criminal record, and are raising U.S.-born children, too bad. Get out. Because nothing says “America First” like traumatizing children and leaving elderly caregivers without support.
But here’s the kicker: Trump’s not even pretending this is about law and order anymore. The administration isn’t exclusively targeting violent criminals or gang members, which everyone agrees should be deported. No, they’re going after everyone; no matter how clean their record. It’s the ideological purge they always dreamed of, and it’s happening at warp speed.
Now, to be clear, everyone with a pulse wants to cut fraud, waste, and abuse from our bloated government. No one is defending embezzlers or bureaucratic grifters. But the way Trump’s White House is doing it is nothing short of reckless. For every fraudulent scheme they shut down, they’re slashing programs that help millions of honest, hardworking Americans. Food assistance programs have been decimated, hitting low-income seniors and veterans hardest. Funding for mental health services has been gutted. The administration is systematically dismantling everything that could be considered a public safety net, and they’re doing it so fast that nobody has time to react.
There’s no thoughtful deliberation. No cost-benefit analysis. No congressional hearings to weigh the human impact. Instead, it’s executive order after executive order; each one a wrecking ball aimed at the most vulnerable. And all of it is being done in the name of some vague, chest-thumping promise of “Making America Great Again.” In reality, it’s just creating chaos, uncertainty and fear that is predicated on cruelty, incompetence, and unchecked power.
These actions are being performed by loyalists and sycophants who are being rewarded with unqualified appointments and cushy government positions. Competence be damned; it’s all about fealty. And, if you want to remain in the camp, just blindly do as I say!
Here’s the thing: real leadership; effective leadership, takes time. It requires patience, precision, and a steady hand. But Trump and his wrecking crew have no interest in governing. Their goal is shock and awe. Wreck it all now, worry about the consequences later.
And there will be consequences. Veterans will suffer. Seniors will lose services. The construction and manufacturing industries will take a hit as mass deportations create massive labor shortages. Small businesses that depend on migrant labor will collapse. Entire government departments will be left crippled, unable to function properly; leaving all Americans, (Republicans, Democrats and Independents) to pay the price.
And when that happens, you can bet Trump won’t take the blame. He’ll point fingers at the “deep state,” the “fake news media,” or whatever convenient boogeyman he conjures up that week. The damage, however, will be real. The suffering will be real. And the people hurt the most will be the very ones who once wore MAGA hats and chanted his name.
Trump and his enablers love to talk about how they’re running the country “like a business.” But here’s the thing; good businesses don’t make reckless, impulsive decisions that jeopardize their workforce and alienate their customers. Trump never acted like that when I worked at The Trump Organization. He made calculated, strategic moves with an eye toward long-term stability and success. He weighed the risks. He measured the impact. He always had a plan.
But something has changed. In Trump’s Washington, there is no plan. It’s just a vendetta tour masquerading as governance. No patience, no strategy; just pure, unadulterated vengeance. And when the dust settles, it won’t be the powerful who suffer. It will be the most vulnerable; the elderly, the sick, the veterans, and the working class in both red and blue states.
And all for what? So Trump can slap his name on America’s suffering and call it a win?
Patience, Mr. President, is a virtue. You should try it sometime.

The plan to rush everything was to blindside the public, catch them off guard so that the public couldn’t respond. The longer the Trump administration can keep radical changes, the more likely they are able to become permanent. It’s called gas lighting, the more you lie to someone the more they believe it. Hitler consolidated power and formed a dictatorship in 18 months.
I believe it’s being done so fast and illegally that we won’t be able to catch all the horrific EOs and other kingly proclamations. This was all laid out ( except the X factor ) by the heritage foundation. Written in a big book called project 2025. They are trying.
