My rage comes from knowing that truth shouldn't have to bleed this much to breathe. That a man built from Holocaust survivor DNA, people who learned despair is a luxury they can't afford, still has to summon superhuman endurance just to outlast lies that operate with impunity.
And now Bondi, Blanche, and Patel, whose own communications are conveniently missing, get to gatekeep Epstein files while we're told to trust them?
This latest ploy and manipulation is having moc come to the DOJ. No. Wrong. Stinks. They don’t get to call the shots. Don’t bring phones. They’ll be scanned. We’re dealing with pure evil here. It’s not acceptable. DOJ should be eager to expose the bad guys and get justice for the victims. Instead they’re covering it up.
To this “president”, his administration, and his DOJ ……WE, the American People, are the bad guys and Trump and his cronies must be protected from us. This is why no decent American should accept favors, pardons, money, jobs, or ANYTHING from Trump 2.0. Proximity to these dogs will result in fleas, each and every time.

This schism with MTN hurt my heart. But what BROKE it was the froth and acid being spewed in the comments. I’d thought this community above that. That, if you disagreed with or learned a truth about someone you got news from we’d just turn the channel, unSub, mute, walk away. We are not the puppet master. We are the audience. We choose what we consume. Or so I’d thought. Operative word in that sentence before being truth, by the way.
I hope this can teach us all a thing, as well. Our online spaces are awash in various poisons, many driven by our darker impulses and the inhibitions of not seeing the ones on the screen as people. But, we can remember, by rote, by making ourselves, that that is a PERSON. Remember, and only then type.
I think, as well, this rage-bait as engagement maybe diluted in our brains the fact that: if we feel an anger that’s driven by a sense of passion or something like a belief, that doesn’t mean the anger is noble. Doesn’t mean it’s not misguided. Doesn’t mean it’s not cruelty disguised as something else.
I still have hope. I know rot can be hard to see, easy to wallpaper over. But, all the fairy dust won’t stop the failure of a rotted board. The break is inevitable. But, after the break you HAVE to put in a new, clean board. No choice. I don’t know at what point we may decide, as a nation, to do one better and patch up what was causing the rot to begin with. So we’re not back here in another 50 years.
But, I think more people are, at least, seeing where we are. Peeling back the wallpaper. Pulling back from the rage-bait and thinking to themselves: maybe truth and facts are pretty nice things, indeed. They’re good bedfellows, that’s for sure. No hype but steady, and just the same in the morning as they were when you drifted off. If I need a thrill I know where the nearest amusement park is. I don’t need it stalking thru my freaking dreams or waking me at 2am.
So, I hope this truth can center us back on the fights we need all our strength for and we stop beating on each other but come together. The midterms are a step 1, if they’re anything. They’re NOT a goal.
