I admit I need to recheck the timeline but wasn’t cohen remanded by bill barr and trump? Not Biden? Is he even eligible for the weaponization? Trump did it and trump then rewards a settlement with someone he wronged? Doesn’t sound like the trump I know.
But the real issue here is whether Trump should receive basically immunity from past tax issues and future issues? His family and businesses? Is a monetary award greater than the damage Trump immunity will do? I don’t see Acosta, Gill, and Cohen receiving million dollar payouts here.
Skip, Cohen was remanded by Barr in July 2020 for a few weeks before a judge ruled him back to home confinement. All of this was under Trump, not Biden. So, yes, it begs the question, WTF?? This is one of the big reasons on here why people feel betrayed, and that his credibility is shot. The fund and tax immunity are just part of the sick and full blown corruption that is Trump and his people.

Cohens betrayal and credibility were dying before this latest cash grab. It’s a simple proposition for Cohen really. Do what real people have done bc of trumps policies, sell your apartment. I’ve read two valuations of his property value and I need to re-source before I mention it to his everyday democrat readers. It is painful to me that he can write about democratic or progressive ideals sitting in his ultra wealthy apartment in a Trump building.
Yeah, his life harming feuds were so great with Trump he stayed in a trump building with Ivanka and Jared as neighbors.
To me, that's the real issue: the immunity.
