"The Untouchable Bondi"
Behind closed doors, Pam Bondi returns protected by Trump’s machine, while survivors, victims, and Americans searching for truth are handed another carefully scripted disappointment.
There is a familiar ritual in Washington whenever there is an issue concerning President Trump. The lights go on. The cameras show up. Congress schedules a hearing. Republicans pretend to care about accountability. Democrats sharpen their soundbites. Cable news runs dramatic countdown clocks. And then, somehow, magically, everyone leaves with less information than they had before.
Welcome to what I know will be today’s House Oversight Committee hearing featuring the triumphant return of none other than former Attorney General Pam Bondi.
If you are expecting fireworks, confessions, or even a sliver of honesty, allow me to save you the trouble. You are more likely to find Jeffrey Epstein himself hosting karaoke night at Mar a Lago than you are to get meaningful answers from Bondi today.
Pam Bondi is not walking into that hearing room as some vulnerable former official caught off guard. She is walking in as a protected soldier of Trumpworld. A loyalist. A fixer. A woman who understands that in Trump’s orbit, survival is not about truth. It is about obedience.
And obedience gets rewarded.
Even after being pushed out as Attorney General back in April, Bondi remains wrapped in the protective bubble of Trump loyalty. Todd Blanche, now Acting Attorney General and another proud alumnus of the Trump defense-industrial complex, is helping shield her. More importantly, Trump himself is shielding her. That matters more than any subpoena ever could.
People forget something important about Washington hearings. These are not courtrooms. Nobody is under some magical truth serum. This is political theater with worse makeup and more lawyers.
Bondi knows the game better than most.
She will dodge. She will pivot. She will filibuster with rehearsed sympathy for victims. She will talk about “millions of pages reviewed” and “protecting survivor privacy.” She will hide behind process. Behind timelines. Behind congressional deadlines. Behind executive privilege if necessary. Hell, if things get uncomfortable enough, maybe even behind the Fifth Amendment.
And the truly maddening part? It will probably work.
The hearing itself is already designed for maximum opacity. Closed door. Transcribed. Not publicly televised under oath in real time. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. If Congress genuinely wanted transparency, cameras would already be rolling.
California Congressman Robert Garcia is absolutely right to demand the hearing be videotaped and immediately released. Because context matters. Tone matters. Body language matters. A dry transcript released days later can sanitize almost anything.
That is exactly why survivors like Dani Bensky are furious.
Imagine surviving abuse at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein only to watch the government repeatedly mishandle the very evidence supposedly meant to expose the truth. According to survivors and critics, Bondi’s DOJ managed to expose victims’ names, release sensitive information improperly, and still somehow fail to provide the transparency Trump himself promised on the campaign trail.
Think about that irony for a moment.
Trump spent years feeding his base the idea that the “deep state” was hiding the Epstein files. Then his own administration finally gets control of the Department of Justice and suddenly transparency becomes very, very complicated.
Funny how that works.
And here is where things get darker.
This hearing is not just about Epstein anymore. It is about whether the Justice Department under Trump became something closer to a protection racket for political allies. Critics have accused Bondi of weaponizing the DOJ to serve Trump’s agenda. Frankly, if you watched the last several years unfold and still think that accusation sounds outrageous, I have a slightly used Trump University diploma to sell you.
The presence of Harmeet Dhillon representing Bondi only deepens the perception problem. When current DOJ officials are effectively helping manage testimony surrounding allegations tied to the former Attorney General’s conduct, Americans are right to wonder where the line exists between public service and political damage control.
And let’s not forget the most heartbreaking part of all this. The victims.
While politicians posture, survivors keep repeating what Bensky described as “the same talking points over and over” because nobody seems to actually listen. That line hit me hard because it perfectly captures modern Washington. Survivors speak. Politicians perform concern. Cable news monetizes outrage. Then everyone moves on to the next scandal while the victims remain trapped in the same nightmare. I know first hand. I live it every day.
That is why I know, today will ultimately leave America disappointed.
Not because we lack questions. God knows there are enough questions to fill Madison Square Garden. The disappointment comes because everyone already knows how this script ends.
Pam Bondi will emerge bruised but protected. Republicans will claim the hearing proved nothing. Democrats will call it a cover up. Trump’s loyalists will attack the investigators. The transcripts will dribble out later with carefully parsed language stripped of emotional context. And somewhere in the middle of all this political sewage, the survivors will once again feel forgotten.
Washington has become very good at producing hearings.
What it no longer produces is accountability.

SUBSCRIBE. READ. LIKE. RESTACK.
Yeah, I know; you’re tired. This shit is exhausting.
Guess what? Me too.
But I’ve spent the last 8 years throwing punches in the dark so truth could get a little daylight. And now I’m asking you to step into the ring with me.
Because if you’re still reading this, you already get it:
This isn’t just a newsletter. It’s a rally cry. A war drum. A line in the sand.
We are not passive observers of the downfall. We are the resistance. We call out the liars. We drag corruption by the collar into the sunlight. We say the quiet parts out loud; and we don’t flinch.
But here’s the truth: I can’t do this solo. Not anymore.
The storm is already here. We are standing in it. And it’s wearing stars and stripes like camouflage, preaching “freedom” while it sells fascism at retail.
So let me ask you:
Are. You. In?
Because this is not a scroll-and-forget read. This is a living, breathing, fire-breathing movement; and movements don’t move unless you do.
We need to be louder than spin, tougher than propaganda, and impossible to gaslight.
That takes more than clicks. More than likes.
It takes skin in the game.
So if you believe truth matters; if you’re sick of the bullshit, if you’re ready to stop screaming into the algorithm and start pushing back with purpose, this is your next step.
HERE’S HOW YOU PUT YOUR FOOT ON THE GAS:
Become a paid subscriber. Fund fearless, unfiltered journalism that hits back.
Share this with the loudest people you know; the ones who never sit down and shut up.
Build the community. Amplify the message. Be the damn megaphone.
And yeah; Founding Members? The first 240 of you will get a signed, numbered, limited-edition Substack version of Revenge. That’s not just a collector’s item. That’s receipts. Proof you didn’t sit this one out.
But let’s be clear:
This isn’t about a book.
It’s about backbone.
It’s about calling out the gaslighters and refusing to be played.
It’s about locking arms and saying, “Not. On. Our. Watch.”
You want to make a difference?
Then make it; right now.
Because if we don’t fight for truth, no one will.
But if we fight together?
They can’t drown us out.
Let’s be so loud, they wish we were just angry tweets.
Let’s be unshakable.
Unignorable.
Un-fucking-breakable.
Let’s go!

I expect no this less than what you said Michael. This is as corrupt as it gets. The victims will never be vindicated. These hearings are a sham. Bondi is protected. That is a fact. When we we ever see real justice?
The optimist in me says I wish I could find fault with your logic and analysis, but alas, I totally agree with everything you have said. Sigh!
