Good morning Michael. This is so scary. I always thought that the judicial system would be our saviors. I didn't know they were actually going after Boasberg. But I'm sure he is prepared for the legal battle. Of course the Trumper loyalists want this. But we do not. We've got to keep speaking out, staying strong. Thanks, as always, for your wisdom and your insight. Keep up the great work. ❤️✌️

Is there a way to expose all the members of the Heritage Foundation?

I took my own advice and googled -

The Heritage Foundation has a Board of Trustees that governs the organization. Notable members include Barb Van Andel-Gaby (Chair), Price Harding, Virginia Heckman, Mark A. Kolokotrones, Shane McCullar, and REBEKAH A. MERCER (caps mine - of course she is). The foundation also has a large staff including leadership, experts, and other staff members.

I think we need to have a protest pointing out what they are doing to out judges. Protest all over the USA. Make it loud and clear. Just writing about it, doesn't get the attention that it needs. Hopefully, other countries will join us, too. This has got to be stopped and Bondi needs her license taken away. She is a disgrace to the law profession and to our country.

Please Mike....don't refer to Trump as a "king"......call him what he is: a Fascist Tyrant. To some MAGAts the idea of having a "king" to tell them what to do is appealing. Because they can't/won't think for themselves.

Michael, is there any email address for Boasberg to let him know we fiercely support him and other judges like him on the front lines?

You can send comments to him here. It's a court-related query system, but I just chose the Webmaster option from the pull-down menu, and put his name in the message, "Honorable Judge Boasberg," and I think the message will likely be forwarded to him.

As an American citizen, I thank you for your backbone and articulate strength in defending our Constitution and our democracy against the horrifying actions of the current Trump administration.

Please know you speak for millions of us and have our fierce support. You are both on the front line and our last resort.

With great gratitude and many thanks.

Hi Mr. C, today’s Substack is another eye-opener. As a native Floridian (not indigenous), for some reason, it reminds me of how my elders lost the beautiful island of Cuba. As a descendant of Cuban Spaniards, I always wondered how hard-working, honest people allowed it to happen. How Fidel Castro flushed Cuba down the toilet. I’ll skip the details, as we all know the end of that movie, but “El Comandante” misinformed and outright lied about what he was about to do with the future of Cuba. Whereas Baron Von Shitsinpants actually blabbered the nonsense before the elections. He did not hide anything! Yet how many Cubans in Miami voted for the wannabe King Emperor Chancellor Pope Fuhrer Czar President, knowing the history of why and how the community mostly now resides in South Florida.

Fast forward to “Rule of law to Rule by Fear,” the fast disintegration of the American legal system and foundation of the United States will impact citizens for years to come.

The common denominator is the post-traumatic stress disorder that scars individuals for life. That generation that fled back in the day suffered from it until their very last breath. Even living in the land of the free.

Since the revolution of 1776. We Americans truly have no idea what it is like to live under anything but Americanism. Maybe that is why in my day, in Miami, Florida. The kids could not graduate without certain required credits, such as Americanism vs. Communism.

If America ever regains a balanced tri-lateral government? That requirement should be the norm across these United States.

You always hit it right on the head. Absolutely chilling. I wonder how many judges are in the Epstein files ? and congress members and oligarchs ? Because nothing says "power" like abusing underage girls.. Who is willing to risk their life to expose these monsters? Maxwell should know her life is meaningless, no agreement will last longer than a week. She will commit "suicide" like Epstein and Giuffre. Need one more thing off my chest today: Fox should know saying trump has the" Midas Touch" that it's a curse... everything Midas touched died... instead fox thought they were cute trying to drive Meidas Touch audience away to join the trump cult because, in this case, nothing speaks louder than money.

Michael. You are so right. I loved your conversation yesterday about putting sound bites out there like "Groceries and Gasoline." We should develop a list of them. Defend the Constitution, Support Legal Immigrants.......Ukraine is Democracy.....Church and State Separation in America....Congress is Trump, Supreme Court is Trump. What are some that our fellow readers can come up with? Let's develop a list of the top 20 and start hitting social media!

I love your posts because you don't sugar coat anything. You are not an optimist. Thus, you are like me. I haven't trusted (and that's the key character trait) government for years. We have to have one, but the one we have doesn't work for average folks. Optimists make many more bad decisions than pessimists. That's been studied and is known. Thank you, again, for putting this out.

Can federal judges start a class action against the lawless threateners? If they could, would the Sup Ct throw it out because (fill in procedural or other cowardly reason)? When will the Hague’s International Court of Justice begin proceedings against the players in this monstrous administration?

Meanwhile, although there usually aren’t windows on high floors (and without bars) in prisons, the next way out the regime could try in order to minimize the Epstein threat is to find such a window for Maxwell to fall out of. Or maybe just install a doorknob covered with radioactive poison, and make her open the door?

Judge Boasberg interpreted the law and applied it, which is his job. But anyone who disagrees with a narcissistic leader becomes chastised, fired, disciplined, and in this regime, possibly worse! Our ancestors dealt with King George, who exerted tyranny sifting out loyalty. If they don't do the bidding of a wannabe king, which is NOT the job of a judge, they are surgically excised. It is a court cleansing, one tin soldier judge at a time, and sometimes more! SCOTUS has already been blinded by the magic gold glitter and has inhaled the stench of authoritarianism. Throw down the lawsuits, beef up the resistance and create as much friction as possible to slow down the careening car Michael mentioned. It's not over yet!

The fish rots from the head. And the Supreme Court is the pestilence at the top of the judiciary. Until last summer's ruling granting Trump absolute immunity for anything he does, I had held out hope that we still had an ultimate guard rail. The three justices who hold love of country and adherence to the rule of law above subservience to tyranny are still trying to stop the impending conflagration. Sadly, however, they are outnumbered by the venal quislings who have joined the cult and bow to kiss the ring.
