Michael, I know you’ve been letting us know this would happen but it’s still hard to believe until you’re in it. It’s definitely here.

Keep shouting loudly!

Michael, you are standing today, and speaking truth to power. Thanks for being an example of recognizing the tyranny of Trump, and disentangling yourself from his despicable doings. I hope that Congress watches you, and watches the “No Kings” demonstration yesterday , and figures out that the winning side in the battle(and it is a battle) is not the side of Donald J Trump.

Anyone who knows me knows....I'm a SCEAMER. And until when/if this MADNESS stops, I will continue to be so. You will never be able to say--I didn't try, and I too didn't warn people of he consequences of doing NOTHING. I did both. Carry On, Michael. Right behind you!

Thank You Michael... Sadly everything you wrote is accurate. I went to the protest yesterday . I'm 75yo. I had friends suggest maybe I should stay home because of what is happening with these jackbooted thugs . I thought nope I'm not afraid. I want the younger generations to have democracy. I am a grain of sand in this resistance. It takes billions of grains to make a beach. But still I am important. Anyway I am mostly down here in south Florida now but I am a veteran New Yorker. I go "home" to NY when I get homesick. Anyway I was at the rally in West Palm. It was at the Meyer Amphitheater. I met Les Parnas he asked where I was from .. I said NYC. He gave me a high five as he is from there. It was really good for my head. Everyone was having fun .. We all enjoyed being with like people. Some of the signs were hysterical. Anyway Thanks again for your post. It is reassuring to read something that validates what I see happening. I'm sorry that the shithead did that to you ..

Age 73 here and had similar concerns. Then I joined a protest Saturday and saw many in my age group, and thought, yes, we're veterans in many ways. More young demonstrators than old out there, so it's also good we are passing the torch.

Yes we are Margaret .. and we will keep on keeping on for as long as we can. To me this is worse then all the other protests I have been part of over the years .. We can lose our democracy "for real" as old Joe would say.

Everyday I leave a simple phone message to a House Rep and a Senator. Simple and direct on one issue of the day. Not threatening. Then later in the day, I send an email to them. At the end of each message, I always ask- are you worried about Trump Revenge or the Voters? Now of course, there may not be elections (yiks) and what makes you think Trump is ultimately going to support you? In between protests, we need to keep the pressure on each day! Remember, silence is agreement. Turn up the Volume!

Thanks, Michael, for keeping the fire going. I’m now incapacitated physically to attend the marches, but certainly can do the other things folks have suggested here. Wish I could afford your “founding member”

List but not able to at this time. All the best!

That's tough. I was sidelined for a few months recently due to an injury in other volunteer work I do outside, and it felt frustrating to do nothing while healing. The protest group I joined Saturday was using handmade signs, and I thought that's what I could do if I'm ever sidelined again. Not all groups are national and large. If you're able, there might be some simple way, non monetary to assist.

These psychopaths keep pushing the boundaries. They think the narrative is only theirs. They are thisclose to finding out they've passed the point of no return.
