What other incompetent will replace him? If we could get rid of all of the incompetent people in this regime there would be no one left. Then we could start with a clean slate and clean up all the damage they have done. That is in my dreams instead of having nightmares.

Ivanka? Barron, perhaps (if he's not too busy as Founder of the Trump Crypto venture...)?

I can't wait until that washed-up Fox commentator gets frog-marched out of Washington. The damage he's done to this country's reputation as anything but a tin-horn police state with an unreliable and dangerous military will not be undone.

Yesterday 47 barely awake was asked about the Ukraine situation. He actually admitted he didn’t know about the decision, and when the reporter followed up by asking what does that mean that you don’t know about something as consequential as this in your White House? 47 mumbled/stumbled an incoherent statement stammering that he will know, he may have given the order, but he doesn’t think so, but he’ll find out. It’s so obvious he is not in charge of the White House (our country). Stephen Miller and Russ Vought. reported architect of Project 2025, are the puppet masters pulling all the strings tighter and tighter.

Michael, Trump often says, "I don't know anything about it; ask my attorneys." But it seems this time the Two-Week Taco really didn't know anything about it. Makes me wonder why, with all the other acts of sabotage Pete Kegbreath has committed, he hasn't been canned before now. Restacked.

I can only think that the cognitive decline is so severe that the fella at the top thinks that he actually DID tell Hegseth to pause weapons shipments.

CE - just in the past few days he looks exhausted and confused. He can't hold a thought, loses track of the main topic at hand, and goes off on the WEIRDest garbage in the middle of important meetings (I dunno, paint the cabinet meeting room ceiling gold or...... and about those paintings.... hmmm ..... he personally selected John Adams??)

Excellent article, as always - if Hegseth was smart, he'd read it!

Hi Michael, in order to discuss the psychology of the man in charge, it would be cool if you could have on your pods Dr. Bandy X Lee who co-authored the Dangerous Case of Donald Trump and The even More Dangerous case of Donald Trump

I didn't think anyone could make me laugh over the incompetence of everyone/anyone in this admin, but you did, Michael. And, you are so right. In his mind, he had decided on Hegseth, and HAD to get him in despite most likely knowing he was a loser, because, if Hegseth didn't get approved, it would have made the orange one look bad at the front end. Now, paying the price. But our nation pays the most. He's just looking for another "muscular" white man now for Pete's replacement.

I like that you write from first hand experience Michael. Though I could never imagine working for a guy like trump, you did, and got your ass handed to you. That's why you're so creatable in everything you say, and I believe you. Thanks for giving us the heads up on the Hegseth Movie ! (I'll be getting some more popcorn soon) and will reStack ASAP 💯👍

Trump looks weaker by the day. Soon there will be a story on his mental state and who is running the country. Maybe we can get Jake Tapper to write it.

Agreed, Baron Von Shitsinpants' hot button, "omnipotent," combined with sleep deprivation, spells possible 25th Amendment.

It will be interesting to see how they "fire" him. Trump has avoided firing people since his last administration was a revolving door. Waltz breeched national security and invited a journalist to watch, but he was left national security advisor and then was appointed to the to UN.

Thanks Michael... I wonder who set Hegseth on that course? JD Vance is a hater of Ukraine .

Doesn't he love Russia ? Was Hegseth following JD's orders ? I don't believe Hegsteh would make that decision on his own. I think JD does this stuff thinking he is pleasing Trump. But as you say in the end Trump can never see his part in anything that doesn't turn out right. I'm sure Trump was screaming at staff after those questions. What is all this going to come too.. My heart breaks for Ukraine.

@michael Cohen, until you mentioned it was confirmed by 5 sources, I honestly believed Trump knew and was throwing Hegseth under the bus. Thanks as always for the clarity and inside knowledge.

This picture from the July 8th cabinet meeting says it all. Since I can't attach a picture in the chat, here's the link. DUI hire is just waiting for the shoe to drop, or to kick him to the curb.

I'm shocked he didn't get axed after Signalgate. He should have been. But like Michael writes, it's not egregious violations of National Security that happen on Trump's watch by his team that infuriates him. It' being humiliated by his team. National Security? Heh...who cares. Next.
