I believe in 2024 there were a couple of Musk related bits of significant news;
With Tesla Board of Directors approval, Elon demanded a Pay Packet of, as I recall 40 BILLION DOLLARS.
I also recall Elon making a statement in the same (tax) year that he paid no (State or Federal?)Tax.
I suppose US Tax law allows tax averaging (I’m Canadian so take this with a grain of salt) that I assume applies to personal income. So taking that 40 BILLION DOLLARS spread over what, seven years I would think he owes a substantial amount of personal income tax.
Has Tesla ever paid corporate tax on PROFITS? If the Tesla Board had 40 BILLION DOLLARS to reward his way, they Tesla must be holding a significant wad of PROFIT funds to pay Corporate tax on.
