With all due respect, JoJo, to use a similar slinging slogan just comes across like kids echoing rhyming insults to each other in a teasing war on the playground.

We need to behave like adults. “tarrifs are taxes” are far more effective.

These 3- or 4-word slogans are spot on!!!! Great going on that Michael.

Much of the voters do not think like adults. We need messages that breaks through.

oops. …suggested (e.g., “we deserve better,” “tariffs are taxes,” etc.).

I was only stating echoing personal taunts back and forth, so to speak…well, We Can Do Better.

Love the 3-word slogan idea especially “We deserve better!” That one is going on my poster for the June 14th NO KINGS protest. I’ll be at the Hyannis, Cape Cod gathering. Stand up people!! Make your voice be heard!!

You are soooo right about this felon issue. I have a family member who can’t earn his potential because he did a foolish thing 20 years ago. He’s struggling every day, even though he served his sentence and is not a threat to anyone.

Mark Jacob said in his Substack, Decency vs. Cruelty. I think that is a great 3 word slogan. Can we get all democratic members of Congress to quote that in every one of their interviews?

Centuries of white men telling the next gen of white men that they deserve more rights than everyone else is a big reason why we got Trump. No catchy slogan can fix that.

Dumb it down worked fabulously for Trump because he couldn't make a coherent statement if you paid him a million bucks.

TACO's niece told people about how trump sat and pouted about a story where his brother Fred Jr dumped a bowl of mash potatoes over his head because he wouldn't stop picking on his younger brother. Everybody laughed at him. His sister brought up the story at a birthday party and trump was pissed.

Thank you, Michael, for keeping the strength to fight on against the "Orange Gorilla who would be king."

BTW, I saw you mention how you were stymied by Substack's growth, which I totally understand since I've been chugging away here for almost 4 years now.

But I tend to think the slow down (we're all seeing) is a combo of subscription fatigue (too many Substacks vying for signups.) vs. the number of users of the platform that one would appeal to.

That said, I give you credit for working Substack like a man on a mission. Having 50K+ subscribers is pretty decent in the short time you've been on here. Keep in mind this platform falls far short of the user base that X has. However, keep the faith. Even if paying subscribers usually consist of only 3%-4% of one's overall subscribers, you'll get to your goal eventually.
