I realize both sides are responsible but I think when this all became so visceral was through Donald Trump.

He made it ok. He never acknowledged the shootings in the Catholic Church that killed 2 children nor the politician and her husband. What does that say?

America has an obsession with violence and guns. It’s been this way for way too long. We even expose our children with violent video games and movies. When will Congress finally come together and agree and ban guns and ban the gun lobbyists? Tbh, I’m afraid that Kirk’s death may spark even more violence. What I don’t understand is why, Joe, you supported TPUSA?

How do we federalize the national guard and the police to be on our side? They belong to the people and the states NOT TRUMP. Time to stop this NOW.

I didn't follow him either but my god what is happening to our country? I can't stop crying. This is so wrong what we're going through as a country.

No doubt Rhetoric is pushing the violence. We are in a time of hate.

Sorry, Joe, for how this affects you due to your relationship with Kirk. Mur0er is never the answer to our problems. We have to change minds. We have to engage in thoughtful dialogue. We have to make people understand that we need to find a common ground to come together. One day it's them, another day it is us. We have a regime in office that stokes violence. We saw that clearly on January 6, 2021. That day is emblazoned in my mind like all of those assasslnations of the 60s, including our beloved President Kennedy. I watched my mom and my teachers cry and go into shock. I was very young, so I didn't understand. Then it steamrolled to Malcolm X, MLK Jr., and Robert Kennedy. Other Civil Rights leaders were k8lled as well. Before that was the Civil War and other fateful events. How have we NOT learned our lesson? What will it take?

I‘m sorry for your loss Joe Walsh, knowing that the man made his life one of spewing hatred and division, but that doesn’t mean that people aren’t grieving. I understand too that when someone dies suddenly, the door to resolution irrevocably closes. At the same time, it’s undeniable that he contributed to the polarisation and violence that we are facing and that bringing that up in a non-gloating way when talking about his murder is valid.

Think about when this began... yet Americans voted for him thrice. That's the saddest part of all.

You have too many guns. You die because of them. Canadian from Canada, where there would not be so many guns if you were not our neighbours.

If we can install glass windows in every public enterprise to stop bugs from giving us covid, we can certainly install bullet proof glass to protect public speakers whoever they are.

The story isn’t that Charlie Kirk lost his voice in death — it’s that so many others lost theirs because of the lies he amplified in life.

Yes I believe you will have to request bullet proof glass to be protected. This is the reality. Joe, the right is absolutely using this horrendous act to vilify the left. It plays into their hands. We need demonstrations now! Large peaceful demonstrations everywhere.

This wasn't an act of political violence. This was a hit job. It wasn't committed by some angry antifa rando, These were pros.
