This is a must read. Now we need persistence and continuity as we consider the legislation before us. We must think. We must choose. There is only one option here and its clear. Michael Cohen was a fixer. But this? This critical moment defines all of us. It is the time to come to the aid of your countrymen. There will never be a greater moment. This is when real leaders are tested and judged by their actions . What kind of future are we creating if we exist only to enrich ourselves on the backs of our fellow Ameticans less privileged.
Michael: Reach across the aisle? Didn't Joe Biden do that? We abandoned Joe. He's still out there, being a good, honorable American. but we bought it. We bought that he was failing. Was he? I'll grant you that he didn't bring anyone up from the ranks, not enough to take over the reins of the Party. He didn't. But he REALLY wanted to finish the job against Trump, and we abandoned him. That's our bad. Big time bad.
BREAKING: State Senator Mallory McMorrow just perfectly explained how Donald Trump’s big, beautiful bill is the largest transfer of wealth from the lower class to the wealthiest 1%. This is exactly the message that all Americans need to hear right now!
We call (Senators, Reps, DNC), we protest, we talk to neighbors and friends. We share posts. What else can we do to turn the tide? I still believe regular sound bites on social media would get those decided and undecided to think and perhaps act? What do you think?
On top of that, they note, driving Tillis to announce he won't run for re-election could lead to a lost GOP seat in purple North Carolina — and with it the GOP's slim hold on the Senate.
According to the editors, Republican control of the Senate is already teetering.
"The GOP has a 53-47 majority now, but Susan Collins always has a tough race in Maine if she decides to run again. Democrats are targeting Joni Ernst in Iowa. In the suicide-isn’t-painless department, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is challenging GOP incumbent Sen. John Cornyn. Mr. Paxton may be the only Republican who could lose in Texas given his record of harassing business with lawsuits, impeachment, and other embarrassments," they reported.
Combined with a possible loss of the House with its tiny GOP majority, losing the Senate could make for a dismal two years for the GOP.
I also get frustrated with Substack app. I go from the email advice into the Substack and it may not open. Then when a live Substack comes through I can’t transfer it onto tv I’ve got to log out and in again. Not to mention I can’t converse with Substack staff over some questions. Whether they haven’t got the iPad app sorted I do t know but frustrating.
Please keep speaking out, we desperately need your voice!
Thank you Michael for your voice!

Trump won the swing states in the 2024 election largely because Musk bought and paid for them.

"We have the power of the vote." What if they find a way to take that away in a year and half?
