I always knew this would happen due to the trajectory of the malfesense, but never thought I'd see it in my lifetime. On the upside of things, I see fewer and fewer MAGA signs around Miami. I preach, "I did not vote for Trump," and getting less and less pushback from folks around here. Hopefully, folks are coming around, but don't admit it out loud. I'm not very religious, but I pray the American experience will shine in these times of adversity. Lately, I often think of the work of Joseph Campbell, as it relates to our struggles. "May the force be with us all!"
As astonishing as the attack upon the judiciary and the rule of law is -

I’m wondering if the current command will be loyal to Trump -
or the Constitution ( can’t be both ) .
Trump has already replaced the female vice admiral at NATO who spoke up for diversity a number of years ago . He has the power to put commanders that share his views into strategic positions in bases at home and abroad. Who’s going to win the struggle between guns and

One item to also consider and of major concern as I understand it, is a provision in the horrendous "budget bill" passed by the House, to retroactively and moving forward, do away with the judiciary's ability to find the regime in contempt unless a bond is involved with a injunction is issued. This is truly alarming, especially since bonds are often never utilized by courts. And the retroactive language is daming. We must stop this!
Well stated and sobering! Let's hold Congress to account - those men and women who violate their oaths of office daily in the pursuit of hewing to the Administration's untoward aims while enriching themselves.
Great essay Michael. Today I proudly wear my Dad’s WWII 9th Army Air Force wool shirt to honor him and all who fought and died so we could have the great country we have today. It’s hard to believe some of JD Vance’s comments about the law. Did he just attend some classes in law school and miss the ones about what our laws mean? The whole Cabinet doesn’t believe in our Constitution. We have to keep fighting and have our voices heard. We have to make sure that the men and women we honor today did not fight and die in vain. They fought against this type of tyranny

We all should be concerned about the provision in the budget bill passed in the House, to retroactively do away with the judiciary's ability to find the regime in contemp unless a bond is involved with an injunction issued. God please save us from allowing the Grand Old Party, all plotters, evil doers and want- a- be Nazis from destroying the US. We are watching an example of the Pre World War 11 actions by the Nazis where the Jews were taken to consecration camps, gased to death, then other races were taken to camps, worked to death or gased. We are also watching the fall of Rome in slow motion. Also what's worse are the so called Christian believers, Preachers and Ministers who act like the Pharisees-Pretensions to Superior Sanctity. With your superior insider knowledge, please tell us how to combat this malignancy. I have read hundreds of posts about how bad things are but little advice about how to reduce the threat except for attending rallies and contacting our MOCs daily.
What does Michael Flynn have to say today to his former boss who stood next to him at a military funeral and whose own son was lost serving this country, when that same disgusting boss pronounced to Flynn, "I don't see what was in it for them!" Now who's the 'Loser' and 'Sucker'?
