Very well said, thank you. This is the best succinct analysis I have seen of all the information we have available to us at this time about this tragedy.

I’m sickened by the loss of life that didn’t have to be. The cuts to these agencies is a travesty. Texas wake up and demand that these agencies be restored. You are the litmus test for what is to come if something isn’t done quickly. Don’t just sit back and let this go by and not rise up and demand change because if you don’t then nothing changes. Abbott needs to go! He is worthless.

I read the headlines and cry. Your anger is justified, no doubt … but please, please be careful. Log off for a little while, if that's what it takes to keep the BP in check. Can't help but worry about you 🫶🏻🥺❤️❤️❤️

RIGHT THE HELL ON, MICHAEL!!!!!!! This situation infuriates me to no end!! Isn't this why we pay state and federal taxes--to FUND the services to benefit ALL Americans???? Trump, we all know, and has publicly, and proudly stated, doesn't pay taxes. WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE?

I can't believe the governor of Texas after hundreds of people have died or are still missing, and he's talking about football ceneros. I don't think if I had a dead child or a family member, this is what I would want to hear from the governor. I am saddened and sickened and I pray for the families. My heart is broken. 💔💔🙏🙏

Why doesn't he go down there and tell those families to "take one for the team?" Because he'd be torn apart. Deservedly so.

Please pray for these families, for their lose, and their pain. They will not quit hurting for many, many years, if ever. Pray that all governments will start doing the right thing, starting at the top and trickling down. Pray that Fema will not be dismantled and will have more people to help those in need with all that will happen in the future. Maybe our government will start seeing what they are doing to the American peoples, but I sincerely doubt it since it is a planned event, not an accident. They are out to kill as many as they can, so that they can become the survivors. What will happen when one of them has a heart attack and there is no one to treat them, what happens when they get the diagnosis of cancer and are told there is no cure because they cut our research? Will they then say that enough is enough. It's time to cut out this bullshit. We need to save ourselves and in order to do that they will have to save others. I believe, they will say that all people are expendable, you have served your purpose and now it is your turn to die. The only one in his eyes that isn't expendable will be trump because he thinks that he was put on this earth to destroy it. We will not let that happen. We are going to fight this monster regime and get our country back and rebuild it better than ever. We will see those that are creating this hatred and destruction held accountable and punished for their crimes. We will not have to listen to SCOTUS because it is corrupt and our government doesn't care what they say, so we shouldn't have to either. We will make laws that are fair to all people, not just a select few. Sorry that this is so long, but I am so mad and disgusted with these people and what they are doing to my country - the country that I love. And I am really upset about what happened to all those people in Texas. So senseless.

Bravo! Even allowing people to build in such dangerous areas should be stopped. I am sure everyone knew the potential for flooding when they sent their children to camp there. It is well known in the area. But all of us think this cannot happen to us.

Trump and his whole cabinet are complicit in this. Yet I still see MAGA posts on FB that leftists are blaming the Republicans. Fucking right we are! They are the ones cutting all of the support programs!

The sadness of this year's Independence Day is straight out of the "Dark Side." The empire is not an accident; it's a plan, a wake-up call for the desperate and mentally lost and full of hatred. May the almighty creator (probably a woman) please forgive me, but the loss of life brings home FAFO. I pray they did not die in vain, and our rebellion will overcome the Tea-Party Nazi-Confederate Republican empire and the dark side it represents soon!

(@) = Never the dark side and may the force be with us all!
