"When You Know… You Know"

"When You Know… You Know" launches on WABC, where I will bring The Tired Majority behind the curtain; no script, no spin, just uncomfortable truths and surprises.

For about a week now, I’ve been telling you that a major announcement was coming.

Well… the cat got out of the bag a few days early.

And honestly? That’s exactly how we wanted it.

I’m excited to tell you that I’m joining WABC 77 Talk Radio, where I’ll have an entirely new platform to continue doing what I’ve always believed matters most: telling the truth as I know it.

The show’s called “When You Know… You Know.”

It’s a title that makes me smile because, after everything I’ve lived through, it couldn’t be more fitting.

I’ve spent decades in rooms most people only read about. I’ve watched power up close. I’ve seen how decisions get made, how narratives are built, and how public stories often bear little resemblance to private conversations. I’ve experienced extraordinary highs, devastating lows, and more second chances than I ever expected life would give me.

Those experiences don’t make me infallible.

But they do give me very unique perspective.

Almost immediately after the announcement hit social media, my phone exploded.

Some people celebrated.

Others were curious.

And, naturally, there were those who immediately assumed they already knew exactly what this show would become.

Here’s the funny part...

Even I don’t know.

Seriously.

That’s because I’m not walking into that studio with a predetermined script or a checklist of people I’m supposed to praise or criticize. Every day starts the same way: gather the facts, ask the hard questions, follow the evidence, and let the conclusion take care of itself.

Some days I’ll agree with the President.

Some days I won’t.

If I believe an idea, policy, or decision is good for the country, I’ll say so without hesitation.

If I think criticism is warranted, I’ll say that too.

Not because it fits someone’s political expectations.

Because that’s where the facts lead.

I’ve spent enough years watching people decide what they believe before they’ve even looked at the evidence. That’s not analysis. That’s performance.

I’m not interested in performing.

I’m interested in telling you what I see, what I know, and what I’ve learned from a life that has been anything but ordinary.

There are stories people have never heard.

Moments that happened behind closed doors.

Lessons that only come from living through events that changed the course of my life forever.

Some of them are funny.

Some are painful.

Some will surprise you.

All of them are real.

And that brings me to something you’ll hear me say a lot.

The Tired Majority.

You’re going to hear that phrase often because I think it describes something that’s happening across America.

More than 54 percent of Americans now identify as independents.

Think about that for a second.

More than half the country doesn’t want to be defined by somebody else’s political label.

They’re people who wake up, go to work, raise families, pay bills, care about their communities, and simply want honest conversations instead of endless outrage.

They don’t need someone telling them what they’re supposed to think.

They want someone willing to think out loud with them.

That’s who this show is for.

The Tired Majority.

People who are exhausted by certainty before evidence.

Exhausted by headlines designed to divide.

Exhausted by commentators who seem to know today’s conclusion before today’s events have even happened.

Life doesn’t work that way.

Neither should journalism.

Neither should commentary.

And neither will this show.

“When You Know… You Know” isn’t about choosing sides.

It’s about understanding the story behind the story.

Sometimes that story will validate what you already believe.

Sometimes it’ll challenge it.

Sometimes it’ll challenge me.

That’s healthy.

That’s how honest conversations work.

So if you’re looking for someone to tell you exactly what you already think every single day, you’re probably going to be disappointed.

But if you’re looking for someone who’s willing to pull back the curtain, share experiences very few people have lived, separate fact from fiction, admit when something deserves credit, call out what deserves criticism, and have a little fun doing it…

Pull up a chair.

We’re going to laugh.

We’re going to disagree.

We’re going to ask uncomfortable questions.

Most importantly, we’re going to have real conversations without assuming we already know the answers.

Because that’s what The Tired Majority deserves.

And that’s exactly what you’ll get.
