That radio station is firmly conservative/gop/maga &, at least, I guess you're finally showing some honesty to your readers about where your politics really lie.
The reason you were dropped by MTN & had every left leaning, progressive, & most independent politically minded news agencies avoiding your reporting becomes clearer everyday. You should be proud of yourself tho for still being able to pull the wool over many Dems/liberals who STILL believe you are actually working FOR them when in reality you are just another fox in the henhouse.
Hopefully this new gig of yours will finally show everyone where your loyalties actually lie & what your agenda really is.

It makes me sick to my soul that you've managed to hang onto so many libs who stubbornly believed that you had truly turned over a new leaf even after all the red flags. Maybe this will remove the scales from their eyes. It sure hammered home what I've felt was the truth for the past several months of increasingly flattering language for trump & his regime, which has been subtle enough to raise eyebrows of some already suspicious folks, but nothing too overt... UNTIL NOW (hopefully).
While the station has a clear right-leaning editorial identity, it has also provided a platform for moderate or liberal voices on certain programs (such as Dominic Carter's show) and is known as an open-line talk format where a variety of listeners are encouraged to call in and share their opinions.
That comment almost sounds like a press release. WABC 770 is hard right wing maga talk radio with a couple moderates thrown in just to keep up appearances. The owner is good friends with Trump, and WABC is effectively Trump's mouthpiece in NYC. With a former sports guy acting like a buffoon doing mornings, to the rest of the day full of rah rah maga bs, the station is unlistenable. But they actually did fire Giuliani when he got too hot for even them. Cohen has his hour on Sunday night to keep one foot in the maga cesspool, while the other foot stays on Substack. That may be good for him, but as a follower you should realize this.
And THIS is how a seemingly innocuous agenda sneaks in to alter people's long held beliefs & opinions to turn them more toward a system that supports political positions that do not align with democracy & free thinking! I have to give credit to Michael, he seems to have perfected his persona & spiel to appeal to some Democrats & liberals with his slowly increased subtle support of trump's actions & motives. Just the fact that his softened stance toward the president & current regime's handling of our government & their rampant constitutional violations is becoming more palatable & acceptable to his readers & subscribers is proof that his brand of insidious persuasion is somewhat successful.
I, for one, refuse to compromise my core belief system regarding freedom, equality, & human decency, regardless of how persausive this snake oil salesman, Michael Cohen, has become with his somewhat a lot of Dems.
If you think his tone has not chngd GREATLY since the early days, when he first threw himself on our mercy as a CHANGED man who had seen the error of his ways & now realized that trump, Project 2025, & MAGA GOP were bonafied enemies of actual freedom for Americans & all humans, then please go back & read some of his early daily articles on Substack (if they're even still available). And if making that comparison isn't a lightbulb moment for you, then so be it. It's extremely difficult to turn around Stockholm syndrome & that seems to be what all of us subscribers fell into w this schyster... I'm just relieved that I & more & more Dems are seeing thru his hype & breaking free every day.
Who are we to tell Michael what he should think and feel? If he has changed any views from a few years ago he is entitled to that as you are to you own views which you have expressed quite well. Too many things are happening behind closed doors. Billionaires are trying to take control of our lives for their own profits. They want to create a world that is privately owned once again, for profit. I was alerted to this from one of my podcasts, “Secular Talk”. I’m sorry Michael if sharing this is not appropriate for you, but in my opinion we all need to join together and fight these Oligarchs!!! Trump is absolutely helping them. He is part of the puzzle, always having his family involved with these real estate deals in other countries like the latest interest in Albania which Ivanka, “discovered”. It is clear why Trump is destroying our democracy. Why he allowed Elon Musk into our treasury information, destroying important programs and removing people from important positions!! Our past presidents knew to tax the rich!!! This is what we need to do!! TAX THE SH*T OUT OFTHEM!!!!!!

Their advertising base is limited to Cars for Kids, vitamin supplements, etc. Catsimatidis, the owner, funds the whole thing and is tight with Trump. Their ratings are so-so and that's due to most of their listeners being between 60 and end of life. Followers will love it or hate it, much like his Substack columns lately.
So democrats should not attempt to have any discourse at all with anyone who is a democrat on a show that leans to the right? Democrats should only talk to democrats on left leaning shows? No reaching across the aisle even on talk shows?
That's up to them. I never said anything about who should talk to whom, nor would I. My post is about what the station represents. But I will tell you that the majority of the shows on WABC do not hide their disdain for the Democrats.
I sincerely hope more Democrats & even Republicans, who are anti-trump & started following Michael SPECIFICALLY bc he presented himself as a REFORMED bought & paid for trump sycophant, wake up & realize he's been likely running a con on us all along. M. Sharma— Yes. The other talk radio hosts and guests this morning seemed surprised when Michael said he had always been a Democrat. That’s when I realized the station was primarily a Republican station (and I looked it up to confirm). After they expressed their surprise, Michael said he’d been thinking about changing his party affiliation to Independent or maybe even Republican. It didn’t sound like a firm decision, only like something he’d thought about. He said he’d thought about becoming an Independent on one of his Livestreams recently since there are something like 54% of voters who are now Independents (an interesting fact he told us about).
I totally get if he decided to switch to becoming an Independent but honestly I would absolutely lose all respect for him if switched to the MAGA party. Maybe he was joking about that

Dawn, I should clarify what I said. Michael Cohen’s party affiliation doesn’t affect Americans, in my opinion. But I would be disappointed if he decided to declare himself as a Republican, especially after all Trump has done to try to destroy our country. That’s just my opinion.
