Michael, you are so right. I live in Central Florida, in the Ocala National Forest area, 20 miles east of Ocala. I'm the only person who protests and try to spread the word. Every one in my community is elderly, on disability, Medicare, Social Security (low income) and Medicaid and Snap. I can’t tell them anything bad that will happen with the economy and their benefits. They all have Trump posters in their yards and are treating me like I'm the devil 😈.
I have decided to no longer try to educate them. Even my best friends are no more.
It fears me that these people cannot be changed. They are poor but still think Trump is going to save our country 🤔.
It’s the same way here in Texas. Our large cities are mostly Democrats. But, when you get out into the rural areas of East and West Texas it’s all Conold. There are flags in their yard, stickers on their trucks and trailers, etc. Many of our large Hispanic communities voted for the orange idiot, too. Where in the hell are the conman’s Republican enablers? The Red Party has no backbone except for Liz, Adam and a few others. I’m quietly waiting for the Orange conman to hit his wall, hard. He can’t get away with this bullshit forever!!!!
I'm hoping that with unemployment that's to come, with having empty store shelves, with prices so high that they can't afford to buy, will show people that he is not good for our country. I think for some of these people it will have to hit them on the money side of it before they will start to think. I think these people think that not having honest judges, lawyers, education for our children doesn't affect them. They don't believe that all the cuts that he is doing to our medical system will hurt them. Wait until they have to start paying out of their own pockets for that and can't afford their medicines. They are so ingrained with the man and they believe everything tRump does and says until it starts hitting them personally, then they will question. Not the rich magas, they have the money to withstand all that will hit them. But, I believe the everyday magas and the poor magas will start questioning. That is what we can hope for, anyway.

Yup. My 3 sisters think Frump is “the second coming” & there’s no discussing it. I tried but they are so fricking brainwashed. They know not to speak with me about their political opinions bc I won’t tolerate 2 seconds of the lies that spew out of their mouths. We are still loving to one another but there are times when I wonder if they’d shoot me if there was a civil war. Seriously scary. I will never comply. Never.

However, with 401ks plummeting they continue to believe as long as Trump and his directed administration remains in place. If only Congress would do their job before 2026, but that seems unlikely as well.
